Hytale Admin Command Overview

An overview of the most important admin, world, builder, and player commands for Hytale servers.

Commands are the primary way to administrate and customize your Hytale server. Whether you want to ban someone, teleport across the map, change the weather, or give someone OP, commands give you full control.

Almost all commands require admin or operator permissions.

If you’re unsure whether you have the required permissions, make sure you’re an admin. You can always list all available commands using /help.

Before you start

  • Most commands require admin permissions
  • Commands can be run:
    • In-game (chat, prefixed with /)
    • Via the server console in the HypeServ panel
  • The console always has full permissions

To see all available commands and subcommands at any time, run:

Console
/help

  • Prefer console commands for moderation if a player is causing trouble
  • Test world and builder commands on a backup or test world first
  • Keep permissions minimal for moderators to avoid accidental damage
